Making Progress on the Book

I'm at 29,000 words for my book! Thanks to advice I've gotten from others, I will not try to fit 23 years of our Navy love story into one book, because I'm only at 2008 so far and I still have a lot more to write. I'm hoping to have it done by August 4th and I don't want to feel rushed. So, I guess that means there will be volumes, ha! Looking back on my journal, old emails, and my blog takes a lot of time. Connecting the dots between memories and timelines is also hard and I want to get it right. It's overwhelming, and again I question who will even read this, but maybe when Dustin and I are in the nursing home with nothing to do, we can re-live our love story. I'm thinking that the advice part of it will be helpful for kids graduating or going off to college. I definitely want this to be an inspirational memoir to help others to live a fulfilling life!
