I need surgery??? Ok, fine I'll write a book then!

I have written 8000 words for my book about our Navy love story! So far, I'm enjoying immersing myself back into my 20 year old shoes!  I've been writing about 500 words per day 5 days/week and trying to keep it chronological, but going off on tangents here and there.  I am struggling with how I am going to arrange it all, is it good enough, will anyone read it???!!!!  I have been listening the Writing Podcast in the car between patients that keeps me highly motivated! It's called Buckle up and Write by Journey Sixty 6.

I was recently told that my fibroids were growing at an alarming rate and that I needed a hysterectomy! One of the fibroids is as big as my uterus!  I will save you some of the details of why this needs to be done, but this was pretty shocking.  I'm counting my blessings that it isn't cancer or something more serious! I should be getting surgery at the end of March, but all I keep thinking is that I'm lucky that I will be writing this book because that will keep me focused and motivated during my recovery. They say I won't be able to work (because I lift patients), workout, or play tennis for 6 weeks......waaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh. Let me know if anyone has experienced hysterectomy recovery and how it went for you!

Ok, back to writing my book!  Let me know if you have any interest whatsoever of reading it. I hope to have it done by Dustin's retirement in August, but I think that is wishful thinking!

Angie! Are you really writing 500 pages a day?! That's incredible! Have you touched on DRY January yet in your blog? We need to celebrate our will lower when I get back from Nationals. KRC or KYC?
