May has been focused on Work and it was the hardest month so far because my natural focus is NOT on work. I kept myself as busy as I could between 2 jobs and focused on patients and finally made the balance video for Youtube that I've been planning for years, so that felt great! I got my 30 CEUs done early and booked my CPR. I organized my work bag and the back of my car for work in a more efficient way. I used more creative ways to challenge my patients' balance. I got my charting done right away most of the time. I donated equipment, although not that much because I didn't have the opportunity. I got completely fed up with Accentcare and told my bosses how I felt and it felt good. It seems backwards for this month, but I've decided I'm quitting that company soon because of all the added stresses they put on therapists and nurses and don't just trust us to do our jobs. I already sent my resume to Lifespan and they said they could use help in Coronado and Imperial Beach, so I'm excited about that, although I won't probably start until late July because of all our upcoming trips! I did not feel as though I did as great this month with the planned focus, but after typing all that, I believe I did! Now, June is Nature month and I'm very excited to start that one focusing on conserving, recycling, reusing, cleaning up and enjoying the Earth in which we live, educating myself with documentaries/Blue Planet like movies, and spending time getting to know all these birds that Imperial Beach is known for. I always thought my Mom's bird watching was kind of kooky but now I totally get it!!
