I was supposed to blog yesterday, but I was at Girls Weekend in Idyllwild about 2 hours northeast of San Diego.  We were very busy doing absolutely nothing and loving it.  We stayed in a cabin and pretty much talked, drank wine, ate a bunch of food, laid on the couch and recliners by the fire and worked on our Happiness Projects!  We also did some puzzling too!  There were no laptops, very little TV other than a few Youtube showings of the Fitness Marshall and Carpool Karaoke. There were very few phone calls or texts except to check in with our amazing significant others and kids.  There was an appearance from Stef via Whatsapp video.  We enjoyed helping each other through challenges and motivating each other in different ways. And we also enjoyed plenty of laughs!

This is what I posted to Facebook: Girls weekend Idyllwild, CA was some of the best, relaxing girl time I've had in quite some time. I came away with an overwhelming feeling that we all help each other be better wives, girlfriends, friends, mothers, aunts, and stronger women. I want to continue to grow, to learn, to be inspired, motivated, and brought to tears by these ladies. I love to envision our girls weekends in our 50s, 60s and 70s, knowing for a fact we will still be friends!

The friends month is going pretty darn smoothly!! All green checks so far and it's pretty easy.  I do have so many good friends that make it easy though.  I do need to make more local friends though! I will work on that after Lexton leaves, she gets here tomorrow, so excited!
