I'm switching my blogging days to Sundays now, so to report on the rest of Extreme Nice Week.....it went better than the first part but it was still hard to do when I wasn't feeling well. Today starts a new week of trying not to say anything negative, ANYTHING. So, I think I'm a relatively positive person and years ago when we watched the Secret, I got even better at turning around what I was saying, like instead of complaining that my foot hurt, I would say, my foot feels about 70% better! Or focusing on a particular part of the body that doesn't hurt. I remember during our 50 mile run, talking to Kat, figuring out that the only thing that didn't hurt was my teeth, so I focused on those! I'm older now, I'm achier now, I'm set in my ways more, so it will be hard not to complain about my aches. It will be hard not to vent about certain job policies that I have a hard time with. It will be hard not to complain if Dustin leaves things out. I halfway feel like I'm complaining right now, so I will quit that. But those are going to be the focuses towards positivity this week and beyond!!! Last week of February already, I canNOT believe that! I've started making my March calendar of goals and the focus of the month is FRIENDS, yay!!! That will work out great because Jack gets here March 1st for the March 3rd half marathon, then girls weekend is the next weekend. Then Lexton is here. I want to try to video chat more with friends and be more thankful for my relationships. I want to put focus into positive friendships and just have fun!!!
